Hyaluronic acid (HA) lip fillers typically lasts up to 6 months, but the exact duration can vary

Hyaluronic acid (HA) lip fillers can cause minor discomfort during the injection process, but it’s usually mild and should go away within 12- 24 hours
- NUMBING - application of numbing cream before the procedure will decrease the intensity of any sensation felt during the injection process.
- Most (HA) lip fillers also contain lidocaine to help decrease pain.
What are potential side effects?
Bleeding and bruising: Common side effects that can occur immediately after treatment. Allergic reactions, itchy skin, rash, and skin discoloration. COLD SORES - lip filler injections can trigger a cold sore outbreak.
How much filler will i need?
Most commonly, just 1 syringe, for augmenting the lips, regardless of the type of filler used. Occasionally, we can build up to 2 or even 3 syringes, but this would typically be used in an older client that has lost some definition, structure, and volume. First time, depending on desired fullness, 0.5-2mL
- depending on the width, length texture and thinness of the lip the amount of filler applied will vary.
WHEN do lips look best after fillers?
Within four weeks, your lips have adjusted to the fillers after the procedure. While you’ll see immediate results, the final look will be less dramatic until the swelling goes down and appear how they should for the next several months.
Do lips go saggy affter lip fillers?
The skin on your mouth and lips will return to their normal appearance without any sagging or stretching. (This change will happen slowly - you won’t wake up one morning to find you’ve suddenly lost volume. As the filler fades, your lips may appear to look somewhat as the normal aging process persists.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN (HA) PEN AND FILLER INJECTED WITH A NEEDLE?
The HA pen is completely non-invasive and the depth that the filler goes into the skin is more superficial than with needles. The HA pen, when compared to needles, significantly minimizes or eliminates risks of occlusions, infection, and pain.
